DEPOK, WEST JAVA — In response to the increase in foodstuffs, as well as presenting kindness with mustahiks in the holy month of Ramadan, Dompet Dhuafa through the Community Service Agency (LPM) distributed Ramadan Parcels. Packages containing basic necessities were distributed by LPM Dompet Dhuafa to several points in Jabodetabek, one of which was at the Daruttaqwa Mosque, Limo, Depok on Thursday (14/3/2024).
Representative of the Daruttaqwa Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM), Tarmuji (69) expressed his gratitude for the Ramadan Parcel Sharing event. He hoped that the packages distributed by donors through LPM Dompet Dhuafa could benefit the recipients, especially in welcoming the holy month of Ramadan.
‘The congregation of the Daruttaqwa Mosque is middle to lower economic class. So, I am very grateful when Dompet Dhuafa shares here, it must be very beneficial for them (beneficiaries),’ said Tarmuji.

Sucipto Dewantoro, LPM Dompet Dhuafa’s Mustahik Service Programme Officer, expressed his gratitude to DKM Daruttaqwa for allowing this event to be held at the Daruttaqwa Mosque. He also thanked the donors who had set aside some of their sustenance and provided support in this Ramadan 1445 H Parcel sharing event.
Cipto explained that the beneficiaries of the Ramadan Parcels were divided into two groups. First, the fi sabilillah, namely imams, Quran teachers, and mosque caretakers. Second, the poor and the elderly. There were 35 Ramadan parcels distributed in Daruttaqwa Mosque. A total of 15 packages were for the fi sabilillah, while the other 20 packages were for the poor and the elderly.
The benefits of these food packages were felt directly by the beneficiaries, including Marzuki, who works as the marbot of the Daruttaqwa Mosque. He admitted that he was greatly helped by the Ramadan Parcels containing basic necessities from Dompet Dhuafa. This package helped him save money on basic necessities at the beginning of Ramadan 1445 H.
‘I am very happy. I would like to thank Dompet Dhuafa very much. This is very useful for me,’ Marzuki said emotionally.
Cipto added that the Ramadan Parcel distribution will continue in two more locations in South Jakarta and Bekasi.
‘I am happy that the DKMs are very supportive of this agenda. This good deed has been done in Bogor, Tangerang, and today in Depok. Next week we will carry it out in South Jakarta and Bekasi. Hopefully it will go well,’ said Cipto. (Dompet Dhuafa)
