GAZA, PALESTINE — “Our hearts are filled with gratitude because our aid for the Palestinian people has been received and distributed with care,” said a representative of Modinity Group Management, Tuesday (5/3/2024).
Alhamdulillah, the aid received by Dompet Dhuafa from Modinity Group has been distributed to the Palestinian people in South Gaza in the form of prepared meals in the Gaza Food Bank (DD Kitchen) Programme. Every day, from 7-21 December 2023, DD Kitchen cooks 2,000 servings of food per day. So that as many as 30 thousand people in the region also enjoyed fast food assistance through DD Kitchen.
As we know, the successive Israeli attacks on Palestine since 7 October 2023 have resulted in more than 30,354 martyrs and injured more than 60,000 civilians. Based on data collected by Dompet Dhuafa’s Disaster Management Center (DMC) team, until 13 January 2024, Israeli attacks on Palestine have killed 23,469 people and injured 59,604. The majority of the victims are children and women.

Launching DetikNews Sunday (3/3/2024), a Palestinian woman who took refuge in a school in Jabalia, Rawiya Rizq, said that there was nothing to eat. She said that the residents there live in hunger.
“There is no food, and we are living in hunger. We are consuming fodder that is becoming scarce, and diseases are spreading fast. Children suffer from measles and hepatitis, while adults suffer from diabetes and high blood pressure,” he said, DetikNews reported.

The strong support from the Indonesian people continues to flow in an effort to provide emergency humanitarian disaster relief in Palestine with Dompet Dhuafa. Responding to the emergency response to the humanitarian disaster in Palestine, with all the limitations faced, Dompet Dhuafa continues to endeavour to channel the kindness of donors and partners to the people of Gaza.
Modinity Group has distributed humanitarian donations for the people of Palestine through Dompet Dhuafa on 9 November 2023 at the Philanthropy Building, South Jakarta. Modinity collected donations (independently) from the profits of their six fashion brands, namely Buttonscarves, Buttonscarves Beauty, Benang Jarum, Benang Jarum Couture, Nada Puspita, and Zytadelia. The donation worth IDR 500 million was handed over directly by Linda Anggrea as the CEO of Modinity Group to Dompet Dhuafa, as a form of support for Palestine.

“Together, we stand firm in our support. We hope that our assistance will have a positive impact on the Palestinian people,” said a representative of Modinity Group Management.
For information, Modinity Group is a company engaged in lifestyle retail and owns a hijab and apparel manufacturing company, which houses a number of fashion brands. These brands include Buttonscarves, Buttonscarves Beauty, Benang Jarum, Benang Jarum Couture, Nada Puspita, and Zyta Delia. Thus, the brands under Modinity Group also donated to the people of Palestine.
