CIREBON, WEST JAVA — For Agus Musthofa (56) and his family, the tradition of going home to celebrate the joy of Eid every year has its own interesting impression. This time, the traveler from Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, wanted to enjoy a trip to his hometown in Solo, Central Java via the Pantura (North Coast) route. Because previously, he always used the toll road. This choice also led him to meet the Dompet Dhuafa Mudik Post service in Cirebon.
“In Solo, I gather for Eid with my mother and sister, thank God, they are still healthy. Every homecoming has its own impression, this time I want to enjoy the trip with my wife and children through the Pantura route, it is more relaxed, and can stop by new places,” Agus admitted.

Agus revealed, they only planned to find a mosque to perform the Asr prayer and rest for a while.
“We have visited several places to find a mosque and rest for a while, but it doesn’t seem right. Immediately sreg, nothing has just entered the gate has been served, directed and given free food to break the fast. Going inside, the place is delicious, aesthetic, “said Agus, happy.
“Well, I also like acupuncture, uh it turns out that Dompet Dhuafa has free health checks and acupuncture services too. This is the first time I have encountered acupuncture services in the homecoming rest area. Finally we took a break for prayer, the whole family got a health check, I did acupuncture, my wife and children at Kids Corner while the cellphone was being charged. Eh, we had fun stopping by from four in the afternoon until seven at night,” said Agus.

“As is the joyous tradition that happens year after year, travelers often face various problems during their journey. The situation on the Pantura route is quite crowded and congested and travelers are predominantly two-wheeled users. Dompet Dhuafa Mudik Post is a collaborative program between Dompet Dhuafa’s organ and branch networks. Among them include the Disaster Management Center (DMC), Free Health Services (LKC), Community Service Institution (LPM), Institute of Independence (IK), and Dompet Dhuafa Branches in Banten, West Java, Central Java, and East Java. “Family Friendly” is the theme of the Mudik Post carried by Dompet Dhuafa so that the momentum of Ramadan feels closer.
