JAKARTA – In order to help victims affected by the Cianjur Earthquake, Dompet Dhuafa held a charity concert entitled #SoundOfHumanity. The event was held at Gading Festival, Jakarta, on Monday (28/11/22) in collaboration with several celebrities and musicians such as Mr. Jarwo, Indra The Rain, Vikri Rasta, Marjinal, Aldi Taher, Abdel Achrian, and Dini Andromeda.
#SoundOfHumanity aimed to invite the citizens to help Cianjur residents affected by the earthquake disaster. Not only that, Indra The Rain also supported this event by giving his favorite guitar, namely “Weary Antidote” for auction, and the auction money will be given 100% to the victims of the Cianjur Earthquake to help restore their condition.
As written on his guitar “Penawar Letih” (Weary Antidote), Indra The Rain as the vocalist of the band The Rain gave up his beloved guitar for auction so that it could be a weary antidote for the survivors of the Cianjur Earthquake. The guitar had produced many of The Rain’s hit songs, such as “Getir Menjadi Tawa”, “Bila Ku Bersamanya”, and of course “Penawar Letih”, as well as other songs from the album Jabat Erat.

The auction of the “Penawar Letih” guitar had started since Saturday (26/11/2022) to the day of the #SoundOfHumanity event on Monday (28/11/2022). The auction started with a price of Rp500.000,- (five hundred thousand rupiahs) and was successfully auctioned by Faizal Reza at a price of Rp7.500.000,- (seven million and five hundred rupiahs).
Faizal Reza said he was grateful to win the guitar auction owned by The Rain vocalist.
“It’s really nice being able to help the brothers who are being hit by the earthquake disaster, and we can also get feedback directly, something we like,” said the man who was familiarly called Reza.
In the future, this “Penawar Lelah” guitar will be displayed at Reza’s restaurant in Ciawi. Umah Madu is the name of a restaurant run by Reza. At the time of the earthquake, Umah Madu was also affected by the earthquake until some parts of the building were cracked.

“Later this guitar will be played and also be displayed in my restaurant along with photos from Dompet Dhuafa’s Instagram, and photos as well as words from Indra Prasta on his Instagram that have been prepared, so that the guests who come will know that this guitar was obtained from an auction in Dompet Dhuafa to help the victims of the Cianjur disaster,” reza added.
Reza was also grateful because by holding this event, he could contribute to the affected Cianjur residents.
“I’d like to thank Dompet Dhuafa for facilitating the citizens to donate to our friends and relatives in Cianjur. Hopefully Cianjur will recover quickly, rise again, and for Mas Indra, hopefully he will be blessed for giving his favorite goods to be auctioned and donated to the residents of Cianjur,” said Reza.
