Supporting the Progress of MSMEs, Dompet Dhuafa and Aisyiyah Hold Financial Management Training and Halal Certification

TANGERANG – To increase the capacity and skills of people who are running businesses, Dompet Dhuafa’s Community Service Agency (LPM) in collaboration with Aisyiyah Tangerang Regency held a training on financial management and halal certification on Thursday (12/09/2024). Aisyiyah, as a women’s organization under the Muhammadiyah Association, played an active role in this training.

Based on data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kemenkop UMKM), during 2022, the growth of MSMEs in Indonesia was recorded very positively, reaching 8.71 million units. In addition, as many as 99 percent of business forms in Indonesia are MSMEs. Although MSMEs play an important role in the Indonesian economy, managing MSME businesses is not easy. Based on the results of a study proposed by Forbes.com, there are 8 out of 10 small business owners who fail in the second year.
