To welcome the THK 1444 H Program, on Wednesday (24/05/2023), Dompet Dhuafa held a Talk Show, “The Ease of Sacrifice in the Digital Era”, which took place at the Philanthropy Building, Pasar Minggu.
The speakers present included Mariatul Kibtiah, as Chairman of the THK Dompet Dhuafa 2023 Committee, Adi Kurniawan as SO Digital Fundraising Dompet Dhuafa, Haerani Akbar who is a Head of IT Transmedia, and Luqman Ibnu as VP of Business Operations DANA Indonesia. There was also a mini-launching of the Dompet Dhuafa program with DANA on this occasion.

With digital advancements, sacrificial payments have also become easier through digital transactions. In line with that, the distribution of sacrificial animals can also be done evenly to all corners of the country. Another impact is the goodness and benefits the people feel, such as the empowerment of small farmers, the more evenly distributed nutrition through sacrificial meat, and others.
On the other hand, the Chairman of the THK Dompet Dhuafa 1444 H Committee, Mariatul Kibtiah, said that Dompet Dhuafa already has a KIS (Kurban Information System) platform. KIS is a system that bridges Dompet Dhuafa, partners, and donors. Of course, KIS will make it easier for THK partners to report. Starting from before, process, to post-sacrifice.
“Partners can also obtain and verify the names of sacrifice so that later in the process of sacrifice, there will be no mistake in the name of the sacrifice, or so that no name of the sacrifice is missed,” he explained.

Dompet Dhuafa continues to strive to make the digital platform one of the efforts so that the achievements of the Sacrificial Animal Stocking program can continue to grow so that it can reach more remote areas to receive the benefits of sacrificial animals. In order to strengthen digital channels in this era, the talk show series also took place to launch the Dompet Dhuafa collaboration program with DANA to make it easier for those who want to sacrifice through the DANA application.
“We have a target so that people can make sacrificial transactions easier, especially with the DANA application. Hopefully, donors who are comfortable with this application can still be comfortable transacting,” said Adi Kurniawan as SO Digital Fundraising Dompet Dhuafa.
Dompet Dhuafa also always reports to donors regarding the trust they donate. When sacrificing, donors will get a photo report before and after slaughter, the slaughtered animal’s location, to notify when the sacrificial animal has been slaughtered.
“The information or reports given to those who sacrifice in Dompet Dhuafa are also based on Sharia rules. Because people who sacrifice are advised not to cut their nails and hair when they want to sacrifice until the animal is cut, so reports and information to donors are important,” Adi added.
Furthermore, explained by Luqman Ibnu as VP of Business Operations DANA Indonesia, “DANA and Dompet Dhuafa want to facilitate payments and access to donations. Not only paying zakat, but donors can pay sacrifices to Dompet Dhuafa via the DANA application. Hopefully, donors will be comfortable too.”

According to him, this program not only provides users access but also convenience and can add confidence to users that sacrificial money is used properly and transparently.
Haerani Akbar, GM of IT Transmedia, who was also present at this activity, also said, “in the sacrificial application offers various services such as choosing animals, making payments, to managing meat distribution. They also provide transparency regarding where the animal comes from and how it is treated before it is sacrificed,” Haerani explained.
