TTU, EAST NUSA TENGGARA — Right now of Eid al-Adha 1444 H, Thursday (29/6/2023), the Dompet Dhuafa Team held the implementation of Sacrificial Animal Stocking (THK) in Wini Village, North Insana District, North Central Timor Regency (TTU). Yes, located about 245 Km from Kupang, Wini is the outermost and inland area, as well as the border between Indonesia and Timor Leste.
The echo of #SatuKurbanBanyakKebaikan became the right moment for slaughtering sacrificial animals centred on the Nurul Mubin Wini Mosque. Ustaz Abidin Rahmat Umar, one of the Corps Dai Dompet Dhuafa (Cordofa) in Wini from Kefa, was the butcher of the sacrificial slaughter that day.
“Nurul Mubin Mosque is the only mosque here. Residents who are far away, guests passing (between countries), and guests from outside the city, even Jakarta, stop and pray here. The mosque is a waqf land of a converted family. We share meat for him, too,” explained Ust. Rahmat.

He also mentioned that the sacrificial meat would be distributed to around 120 Heads of Families (KK) in Wini. Yes, Eid Kurban in Wini is a crucial moment awaited by Muslims and other religious communities.
“Non-Muslims in Wini, if there is a sacrifice, help the activity. Some help to bring cows, cut meat, and divide them too. We also share flesh with them, including religious leaders. Even the border guard soldiers also helped,” he said.
