LAMPUNG — Dompet Dhuafa Lampung held the implementation of Sacrificial Animal Stocking (THK) 1444 H in four locations, namely in North Lampung, South Lampung, Pringsewu, and around Bandar Lampung. Hundreds of sacrificial animals were slaughtered on Thursday’s first day of Eid al-Adha 1444 (29/6/2023).
In Pringsewu, slaughter is carried out in DD Farm Lampung cages in Tulung Agung Village, Gading Rejo, Pringsewu. Before that, the THK DD Lampung Committee held the Eid al-Adha Prayer at the Al-Iman Tulung Agung II Mosque, which was not far from the location of the cage. After that, the committee held an opening ceremony for THK 1444 H DD Lampung, which was also attended by the Head of the Dompet Dhuafa Lampung Branch, namely Yogi Achmad Fajar and the Head of Pekon Tulung Agung, Dermawan, and the surrounding community.

“Alhamdulillah, THK, this year, Dompet Dhuafa Lampung can again be present in the Tulung Agung community as an extension of donors who entrust their sacrificial animals in Dompet Dhuafa. We also thank the people of Pekon Tulung Agung, who warmly welcomed us here,” Yogi said in his speech.
Yogi continued that the number of sacrificial animals that were initially targeted would be 93 sheep; thank God it increased to 100 heads then slaughtered at DD Farm Lampung Cage. This number can still increase following the number of urban victims growing.
The previous day, Dompet Dhuafa Lampung had also distributed hundreds of sacrificial animals with living conditions to remote areas. In addition to hundreds of sacrificial animals of sheep type, there are also other types, namely 15 cows, distributed around Bandar Lampung and South Lampung.
Meanwhile, the target beneficiaries of the THK Program are those in the category of underprivileged families.
Dermawan, as the Head of Pekon Tulung Agung, in his speech said, “On behalf of the Tulung Agung government, we would like to thank the donors of Dompet Dhuafa, where thank God there are around 100 more sheep to be distributed to 9 mosques and five masalas in Pekon Tulung Agung. May all the deeds and worship of ladies and gentlemen be recorded and accepted by Allah Almighty.”
In previous years, Dermawan continued, there had never been sacrificial activities in the five muscles. That way, the people of Tulung Agung, far from the crowd, can also enjoy the togetherness and blessings of sacrificial worship (qurban).

One of the small mosques (mushola) that received part of sacrificial animals was the small mosque (Musholla) Al-Huda. Dompet Dhuafa Lampung distributed six sacrificial animals for this masala. The mushola manager chopped sacrificial meat to be given to 67 families in RT 04 Dusun II, Pekon Tulung Agung II.
Marzuki, Chairman of RT 04, explained that there had never been a sacrifice in this small mosque (mushola). Usually, people only wait for distribution from one of the nearest mosques if there is a meat stock. The existence of THK Dompet Dhuafa is undoubtedly a great happiness for the people of RT 04.
