SERANG, BANTEN — A member of the Board of Trustees of the Dompet Dhuafa Republika Foundation (YDDR), Yudi Latif, visited several Dompet Dhuafa benefit distribution sites in Banten on Monday (April 8, 2024). These sites included DD Farm Banten in Cikeusal, Serang Regency; the Dompet Dhuafa Family-Friendly Homecoming Post in Cilegon, West Serang; the Dompet Dhuafa Banten Branch Office; and the Achmad Wardi Eye Hospital.
Yudi, who is also the Chairman of the Indonesian Center for Islamic and State Studies (PSIK-Indonesia), was not alone. Yayat Supriatna, a Supervisor of the Indonesian Human Resources Foundation (SDMI), accompanied him. Yudi delivered a profound message regarding the visit that day. According to him, Dompet Dhuafa’s activities have provided innovation and, certainly, hope for the community.

The presence of Dompet Dhuafa can dispel all of society’s anxieties about the future by planting good deeds in the present. Planting means cultivating a sense of compassion. The more this sense of compassion flourishes, the more abundant the universe’s outpouring of love will be for all of His creations.
“Dompet Dhuafa can alleviate society’s anxiety about the future by planting seeds of kindness today. If our view of the future is shrouded in a fog of worry and pessimism, it is because we have stopped planting seeds of hope for the future. Dompet Dhuafa deserves to be appreciated as an oasis that can grow the tree of hope,” said Yudi.

To the people of Dompet Dhuafa, he conveyed that there is no achievement without planting. Of course, it takes time.
“There is no achievement without planting, without the process of cultivation in the mud of time. Whoever does not sweat to plant and nurture the flowers of hope, cannot enjoy the beauty of the garden of the future. This is how the path of dreams becomes reality,” Yudi concluded.
The visit that day ended at Ahmad Wardi Eye Hospital and was closed with a solemn iftar together with the people of Dompet Dhuafa. (Dompet Dhuafa)
